I previously worked for 2 years as a YMCA Group Exercise Instructor in the evenings after my full-time job. However, I no longer teach classes because my spare time is devoted to my children. That said, I am an extreme fitness enthusiast and constantly stay up-to-date on the latest research, workouts, nutrition guidance, and the latest and great fitness gear. It is my favorite past-time, self-care habit, hobby, and guilty pleasure. I am constantly adding gear to my family’s home gym and use my home gym 4 or more times per week without fail.
I have previously been trained in writing workouts in addition to fitness and strength conditioning principles through my certification courses at the YMCA. The training courses I took certified me to teach group exercise classes at the YMCA.
