It’s not as good as a chocolate chip cookie and definitely not as good as the other chocolate flavors above, but it works in a pinch. If you’re expecting a similar taste to the Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bar, this won’t be it.
Personally, I tasted no resemblance to Nutella when I tried this RXbar. It reminded me of a chalkier version of Peanut Butter Chocolate. That said, there are a lot of people that swear this is their favorite flavor!
If you love blueberries, you’ll probably love the Blueberry RXBar. The blueberry taste is overwhelming and the texture is very chewy. The blueberry taste may just be a tad overwhelming for some. Plus, many people said they disliked the aftertaste.
If you were looking for a twist on Andes after dinner mints, I’m sorry to disappoint. The overwhelming mint flavor doesn’t mesh well with the brownie-like chocolate. If you’re a die-hard mint chocolate fan, you might like this one, but, otherwise, you can leave it!
Like many people, I had high hopes for this bar. However, this bar falls short. It’s way too sweet and tacky. It really just tastes like candy. If you’re interested in a maple syrupy sweet candy treat, you might like this Maple Sea Salt RXBar, but, otherwise, try the others on the list.
This bar is a winner with most people! Even as someone who doesn’t love pumpkin, I actually do enjoy this bar. It’s is subtle enough that even non-pumpkin lovers can enjoy this bar!
This is a great flavor year-round, but especially in the fall! If you love cinnamon and apple flavors, you’ll love this bar. It gives you the comfort of apple pie without all the bad stuff. Winner!
Banana bread, anyone? This bar tastes just like the label says: a combination of banana, chocolate, and walnut. A delicious combo!
This is the newest fruity RXBar on the market and it’s a winner. The lemon flavor pairs well with the date base. The cashews and almonds are also a nice compliment. While some might find the lemon overwhelming, this is a favorite for anyone who likes lemon.
The original great flavor from RXBar. This is heavy on the peanut butter taste, so you’ll love it if you’re a peanut butter lover. Others find it a bit too bland. Even if you don’t love this one on its own, it’s a great staple to chop up and sprinkle over a bowl of greek yogurt.
If you’re craving something sweeter and more tropical, yet still chocolatey, this flavor is a great choice. The coconut is not overpowering but you definitely can taste the coconut in this bar. Another crowd favorite.
If you’re a coffee lover, this bar is right up your alley. While the coffee flavor could be a bit stronger in this bar, overall this is a winner. It has a great chewy texture with that coffee boost!
Chocolate and cherry — could there be a better combination? This flavor is great because it’s like a chocolate brownie with a hint of cherry. If you’re a chocolate fan and looking for something with a sweet twist that isn’t overpowering, this is your bar.
If you like gummy candy like Sour Patch Kids or Swedish Fish, then you’ll love Mixed Berry. It’s the perfect fruity, gummy flavor and texture. This bar does have large chunks of almonds which may be a turn off for some, but others may love it.
This is one of the newer flavors and it doesn’t disappoint! It tastes just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
The best part is that this bar is much softer than many of the other flavors, without the need to heat it up.
The Peanut Butter Chocolate RXBar is the perfect healthy, less-sweet version of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.
If you are a chocolate and peanut butter combo fan, then you’ll love this bar.
The texture is the same great chewy texture that RXBar is known for with added chunks of cacao chocolate.
All-around winner! This is crowd-pleasing fan favorite. This RXBar tastes just like a less-sweet version of a chocolate brownie with a hint of that delicious sea salt.
If you want to try any RXBar, make it this one! It seems to be everyone’s favorite flavor!

Are RXBars unhealthy?
While that depends on your definition of healthy, RXBars would generally be considered a healthy food.
Overall, a person should choose whole, natural foods in minimally processed form for the bulk of their diet.
However, that’s not possible 100 percent of the time with our busy lives. RXBars are a great healthy alternative to a meal prepared with whole foods.
Many RXBars are Whole30 compliant (except those that contain peanuts). Additionally, they are gluten free, dairy free, soy free, contain no added sugars, artificial coloring/flavoring, fillers, or preservatives.
